Authorization to sell cloud services to US federal agencies.
FedRAMP standardizes security assessment and authorization for cloud services used by federal agencies. It applies 800-53 baselines with FedRAMP-specific parameters, requires assessment by a third-party assessment organization (3PAO), and continuous monitoring after authorization. FedRAMP 20x, launched in 2025, is moving toward automated, machine-readable evidence.
These controls exist because the platform needs them to run safely. The crosswalk reads their signed evidence against FedRAMP. Where there is no evidence, the report says gap.
