DORA

Digital operational resilience for EU finance and its ICT providers.

The Digital Operational Resilience Act applied from January 2025. It requires banks, insurers, investment firms, and crypto providers to manage ICT risk, report major incidents, test resilience, and oversee third-party ICT providers. Critical providers fall under direct EU supervision.

No. Critical designation is made by the European Supervisory Authorities for the largest providers.

What do auditors ask for?
Evidence that access to production was authorized, changes were approved, and logs are tamper-evident. That is the crosswalk.
